It's been a long and exciting month on the internet space as each week came with exciting updates from some of our favourite celebrities.
Let's take a look at some celebrity couples who trended in April.
1. Celebrity couples and American rappers Cardi B and Offset made headlines this month after they showed the face of their seven month old son and also revealed his name.
The blended family of seven all featured in a photoshoot for Essence, appearing on the cover of the May/June issue.
When Cardi B married
offset in 2017 she became a stepmom to 3 of his children which he had
from a previous relationship and offset revealed to Essence that she is a
pro at the role.
"It's a blessing to be able to have them all together, and to have a wife who's open and treats them as if they're her kids," Offset says of his children with Cardi B and from previous relationships. "
2. Rihanna and Asap Rocky also trended on the street of twitter after their relationship was hit with a rumor that they had split up.
Rumor went viral on
social media that Asap was involved in an affair with a shoe designer.
However the designer debunked the rumor on her Instagram page. The
couple have been seen afterwards attending events and having a good time
together.
3. JJC Skillz and his wife Funke Akindele
were on social media trends for almost a week after reports went viral
that they were having issues in their marriage which led to JJC Skillz
moving out of their house.

However the couples were unbothered by such rumors as they also subtly debunked the rumour with their public display of affection via a post on Instagram.
4. Nollywood actress Mercy Aigbe was quick to debunk a rumor that went viral on social media that she had moved out of her husband's house.
The couples whose
marriage has been a cynosure ever since it became known online, have
been under scrutiny from social media users. The rumour of Mercy moving out of Kazim Adeoti house quickly hit social media trends as a lot of people jumped on it, airing their own opinion.
Recently, a Tiktok video shared on her Instagram page shows Mercy Aigbe demonstrating how she would shoot those girls, always using a famous cliche for her husband, ‘Alhaji dey enter my eye.’
5. Anita Joseph and her husband Mc Fish
hit social media trends on one or two occasions this month. Earlier
this month, the actress received accolades for the birthday party she
threw for her husband on his birthday.
They were also in the news after a video showing Mc Fish helping his wife with her hair went viral with Anita stating that she wants to cut her hair but she can't do it without the approval of her husband. Although She later did and her husband showered her with praises for her new look.
Both couples don't hesitate to show their public display of affection via social media to the excitement of their fans, Mc Fish also congratulated her after she bagged an endorsement deal some weeks later.
6. Banky W and his wife Adesua Etomi
made headlines after the nollywood actress drummed support for her
husband's political ambitions after Banky switched to the People's
Democracy Party.
Weeks later the aspiring politician and his wife came under social media criticism after an interview they had with BBNaija presenter Ebuka.
