LRECOVERY OF SAPS UNIFORMS
On Tuesday the 19 April 2022 at about 23:15 Dew-Force Security and Prosecure were on a routine patrol in the Durban central area when they saw two suspicious men carrying 2 black bags. When they approached them the man started running which made the situation even worse as the securities noticed that they were probably in possession of dangerous items or stolen goods. Unfortunately that Suspects managed to evade the security but they had to drop their bags which were taken by the Securities.
In the process the two black bags were left behind by the suspects, upon opening the bags they found SAPS uniforms. Many people are unaware that criminal I have access to police uniform which makes them very scared because that that impresses crime in the country, and it is worse that the crime is committed by criminals who portray themselves as law enforcement officers who are people that are trusted by many people afterall.
The uniform was taken to durban central and booked in SAPS 13. The government should come up with strategies that will and ways that will hinder such from happening, and they must even find a better way making sure that they make sure that uniforms that belong to the police cannot be gotten by members of the public. So that people will not as they just get a police uniform then be able to do whatever they want to other people who are not aware that they are not police, many people have died in terms of prominence that portray themselves as police.
