El-rufai Reveals Security Plans To Bandits- Monguno, Jonathan Posters Floods APC Secretariat / Newhitzgh


 The president of Russia, Vladimir Putin would be meeting with Antonio Guterres who is the Secretary General of the United Nations Organizations to hold talks in Russia on Tuesday. This announcement was made by Kremlin on Friday. Thousands of people have lost their lives with millions of people displaced in the Russia–Ukraine crisis. 

The meeting which would be held on April 6th will consist of Antonio Guterres and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, President Vladimir Putin would also be attending the meeting. A UN spokesman had earlier said on Wednesday that the UN President asked for a meeting with both Russia and Ukraine. Guterres is seeking an end to the crisis as he hopes for dialogue with both countries. Since the war began, Putin had not taken the calls of UN Secretary general after he stated that the military campaign of Russia had violated it's charter.


President Muhammadu Buhari’s regime has excoriated Governor Nasir El-Rufai for talking too much, thus revealing security plans to bandits.

Specifically, National Security Adviser Babagana Monguno Thursday condemned the Kaduna governor for parroting confidential information to bandits, making it difficult for security operatives to locate their hideouts.

Ex-President Jonathan’s Campaign Posters Flood APC Secretariat

Ahead of the 2023 elections, the campaign posters of former President Goodluck Jonathan have flooded the national secretariat of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abuja.

This, some observers believed, is part of the effort by the former president to subtly kick&start his campaign as he plans to take over from President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023.

However, DAILY POST could not be ascertain from the former President his plan for 2023.

The posters, with a big picture of the former President, carried an inscription, “Goodluck Jonathan You Must Run”.

DAILY POST checks revealed that the Governor Mai Mala Buni-led Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC) along with some APC governors paid a courtesy visit to the former president last year, fuelling suspicion of moves to woo the former President to the party.

Kaduna Crash Depleted NAF's Capital Assets- Minister

THE Minister of Defence, Major General Bashir Magashi (retd.), has described the crash of the Nigerian Air Force Super Mushshak training aircraft that claimed the lives of two pilots in Kaduna as a devastating loss to the nation.

This is as he called on members of the Armed Forces not to allow the incident to dampen their morale.

A statement on Thursday by the Special Assistant to Magashi on Media and Publicity, Mohammad Abdulkadri, said the incident had depleted the human capital assets of the Air Force.

Police Screen 3583 Applicants For Recruitment In Kaduna

The police command in Kaduna says it has screened 3,583 applicants that took the computer-based test (CBT) in the state for recruitment.

The command’s public relations officer, ASP Mohammed Jalige, disclosed this on Thursday in Kaduna.


According to the Nigeria Police, the drive to recruit 10,000 police officers has gained momentum.
