The former special assistant to former president Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri, has asked an important question, regarding the 100 million Naira APC presidential nomination form.
According to a tweet he made on his verified twitter handle, Reno Omokri stated it clearly that the APC presidential nomination form is sold at ₦100 million Naira, while the president's salary for 4 years is ₦56 million.
Speaking further, Reno Omokri asked an important question, so as to know whether this particular APC decision does not promote corruption, because the salary of the president is not even upto the presidential nomination form. Ending his tweet, he urged Nigerians to think, otherwise Nigeria will sink with corruption.
This is really not a good one for our political space. How can one use 100 million Naira to pay for presidential form, yet in 4 years, the president's salary is not even up to 100 million Naira. I don't think that we must continue this way as a nation. Something must be done, if not, we are going nowhere as a nation.
