History has been made as the efforts of highly talented Ghanaian trap rapper, Gambo in promoting the beautiful side of Ghana to the rest of the world through his classic music videos begin to yield dividends.

The versatile musician, Gambo highlighted his reputation as one of the fastest-rising Ghanaian musicians with a dazzling performance at this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA23) on Friday night, May 6, 2022.

He left thousands of music fans in the Grand Arena and viewers across the country and around the world virtually mesmerized and ecstatic with his enthralling performance, even though this year was his first time performing at the VGMA. His performance was nothing short of expectation as he showcased that he is an artiste who knows his craft and can deliver a great performance at any given moment on big stages such as the VGMA stage.

“Yawa” on VGMA23 Red Carpet

Gambo has since his emergence onto the Ghanaian music scene, resisted the temptation of using his talent to disrespect the media. He has actually built a healthy relationship with journalists across Ghana, drumming home the need for journalists and musicians to work together to better market Ghana to the rest of the world.

The ‘Unsung Artist of the Year’ at the 2022 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, Gambo got a little ‘yawa moment’ on the red carpet yesterday, before he mounted the big stage.

During his interview on the red carpet before the awards show, Gambia tried to grab the waist of the pretty young hostess of the VGMA red carpet, Adwoa Noella.

Apparently, Noella was not ready for that form of a cozy moment with the young artiste, so she quickly removed his hands and gave him a little space for their interview to go ahead. This was where reactions were extracted by netizens.

Adwoa Noella disclosed that she has known Gambo for some time now which is why he might have probably tried to hold her by the waist.

Well, they both acted mature about the whole ‘yawa’ and went ahead to speak so the video does not look too bad as it might have if they did not go ahead to talk.

How do you see the whole moment? Was the presenter too harsh by doing that to her guest?

Or you also think she had to resist harassment since she was on live TV?
