See what Zwane had to say about this Kaizer Chiefs' Star Return following the 1-0 defeat.
Zwane On The Way Back For Zuma.
The performance of Dumisani Zuma, who made his first appearance of the 2021/22 season for the Kaizer Chiefs, has prompted Arthur Zwane to express his thoughts on the matter.
Zuma, 26, lost significant time during the season due to injury, although he was later suspended by the team after being discovered driving under the influence of alcohol.
However, since returning to the Amakhosi squad in January, he has since established himself as a regular in the squad. After being on the bench against Golden Arrows and TS Galaxy in the previous two matches, he finally made his long-awaited comeback in the 1-0 defeat to Stellenbosch on Saturday.
Even though Zwane was thrilled with the talented winger's performance, he believes he might have done even better.
When asked about the player by iDiski Times writer David Kappel, he said, "No, he looks excellent in training, Dumisani."
"As you can see, when he entered the game, he immediately altered the dynamic of the game." Unfortunately, as I previously stated, I feel he could have done much better, and in fact, I believe he could have done even better.
"However, it's one of those things since he hasn't been playing for quite some time now.
"But for him to go in there and demonstrate his courage and self-belief, as well as what he is capable of and what he is made of, that was extremely encouraging to witness."
In addition, we push him to have greater confidence in himself, to put on those types of performances, and to be more consistent.
Zuma may get another opportunity to shine when the Chiefs and Golden Arrows meet for the first time since the December match was postponed.
