Two Countries That Have Not Yet Gained Independence / Newhitzgh

There are many independent countries around the universe. It should be said that many African countries were colonised by European nations. Colonialism has declined over the past years. However, it is important to point out that we have some countries that have not yet gained independence. Let us carefully identify two of them.  

1. Northern Cyprus

Northern Cyprus has not been recognized as an independent country by the United Nations Organization. According to Britannica.com, Northern Cyprus is not yet an independent country. The official name of this country is the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. Northern Cyprus depends on Turkey for many things.  

2. Western Sahara

This is another country that has not yet gained independence. This country is not recognized as a sovereign nation by the United Nations Organization. Morocco controls about 80% of Western Sahara. This information is verifiable on the Western Sahara official Wikipedia page.

According to Britannica.com, Western Sahara is not yet a sovereign country. This means that Western Sahara has not gained independence.
