A Popular Ghanaian Lawyer, Kweku Paintsil has boldly replied to former President John Mahama on his comments about the Supreme Court judgment on Mr. James Gyekye Quayson. He dropped more secrets.

The Supreme Court on April 13, 2022, ruled that Mr. James Gyekye Quayson cannot continue to hold himself as a member of Parliament for Assin North Constituency. The decision was after a 5-2 majority decision among the Supreme Court judges.

While reacting to the judgment by the Court, former President John Mahama described the verdict as a travesty of justice and also mentioned that it was an unfair judgment for the people of Assin North ConstituencyMeanwhile, Lawyer Kweku Paintsil while speaking on News File on Joy News revealed that the judgment of the Court on Mr. Quayson was not a travesty of justice. " The Minority of the Supreme Court judges on this case only sort to say that, the petitioners cannot use the Supreme Court to seek what they wanted, they should have used other means. So it means that all the judges agreed that Mr. Quayson should indeed be injunctive. So, for me, I will not agree with anyone who says the judgment was a travesty of justice.
