Sam George has stated that the Ndc is not taking over from the Npp. And he had reasons for stating this or making this comment. The Ningo prampram member of parliament has successfully made his public declaration on how the government has embezzled over 40 million cedis a few days ago. These were facts that he earleir threatened to expose to the general public if the Npp were going to keep up with their corruption. Corruption is a word that is mostly abused by members in opposition. Sam George did not end here, he went ahead to expose them on different occasions as he stated that we have been embarrassed by this government.
In his opinion on how the Npp are going to hand over to his party, he said there is not going to be a handing over. He claims there will only be a handing over if the other party is holding on to something or having something to hand over. Since the Npp according to him are not having the country in their hands because the country and the Npp’s leadership are on a parallel plane and never meeting, he feels the country is on autopilot. We are not taking over from the Npp because they have nothing to hand over. You could make that statement if the Npp have something to hand over- he said.
Sam George implied the the government needs to be taken away from the Npp and not handed over to because the Npp have failed the country and there is no redemption for them. People feel betrayed as they who have been duped by bigger companies and seek the government intervention are having no support. For many Ghanaians, this is not a government that is interested in keeping its citizens safe. Nana Addo has been called out on several occasions this week to not only answer but take on his responsibilities.
