 Domestic violence is very rampant in our society but we all choose to turn a blind eye because none of us wants to get involved. The women who are victims of this abuse are mostly afraid to speak out because they feel they have no one to turn to or they are afraid their husbands would kill them if they try anything funny.

As a society, we need to change our attitude towards women. We should treat them as equals and not make them feel like some lesser beings that are worth nothing. Men need to understand that they are not superior beings but equal ones. They should understand that they too were brought up by women either their mothers or sisters or even daughters and no one has the right to beat them up or stop them from speaking up.

A video is currently circulating on social media. A man was seen brutalising his woman as if she's a slave. The man was punching her, kicking and beating her as if she's an object not a human being. I don't know why some women even stay with an abusive man. It's time women start leaving toxic relationship before you end up dead or in the hospital. I wish this man will be punished so other men can learn that beating a woman is bad.

Women in our society have been made weak. They have been raised in such a way that they become dependent on men. If a woman gets beaten or abused by her husband, he knows that she'll stay quiet about it because she's scared of being thrown out onto the streets with no money and nowhere to go and with kids who will suffer even more than she will.
